pi-function helps eliminate image retention

Image retention (image retention or burn-in) occurs when traces of previous static images remain on the screen. This is a common issue with modern displays.

pi-function is a modern browser utility that uses dynamic patterns: white noise and alternating colors. Regular use helps “discharge” pixels and minimize burn-in effects.

How it works on different panel types

It is recommended to run the cleaning 1–2 times a week for 10–20 minutes in fullscreen mode. The “Multicolor White Noise” mode is especially effective for OLED monitors.
